As a Project Lead reporting to the Launch Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for aligning the requirements and needs of I.
Engineering in all areas, as you will be the main technical interface with stakeholders (project managers and customers) for product planning and support, design according to needs, industrialization of the plant, ensuring process quality, capacity and efficiency.
Responsibilities: Management of technical needs between Industrial Engineering (Process/Test/Automation) with Product Engineering and Customer.
Follow up and monitor project documentation as well as deliverables belonging to I.
Engineering and Production.
Lead/support weekly cross-functional team of engineers and meetings for pre-production order fulfillment.
Ensure closure of all LPMP deliverables and gates affecting operations.
Champion PFMEA, Process F. Chart and procedures affecting I.Engineering and Production.
Ensure consolidation of capacity studies, technical feasibility analysis and technical risk analysis.
Maintain technical knowledge level, ensure technology development and correct and timely DFM.
Participate in manufacturing processes and define investments, ensure reuse of equipment by preparing technical and cost improvement studies according to quality, customer and Lear standards.
Manage customer needs to define processes and production production lines accordingly.
Requirements: University degree in Industrial Engineering (Master's degree would be a plus).
Fluent in English, spoken and written / German an advantage.
Proactive personality, demonstrating initiative and efficiency.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Experience in an automotive environment.
Knowledge/understanding of electronics manufacturing (SMT / automation / testing / etc.
