Description: Project Engineer Support shall keep engineering projects on time and on a budget, as well as monitor activities such as procurement, quality control and system configuration and execute activities such as procurement, manufacturing, factory integration, systems delivery, on site installation, commissioning, and corrective and preventive maintenance.
Project Engineer Support shall be responsible for the daily running of engineering process.
Project Engineer Support will work closely with other levels of management such as business development teams, supporting service level agreements with customers, and supporting project managers and customer support team on a daily basis.
Core skills: Translating client requirements into practical terms that can be implemented.
Purchasing execution managing direct contact with providers on a request for quotation process.
Purchase order requests issuance as per internal standards, rules and templates.
Daily purchase orders status follow-up.
Daily estimated time of arrival time follow-up on the purchased equipment.
Assembled cabinets and racks test.
System components configuration: sensors, communications devices, dataloggers, servers, workstations, etc.
Configuration management documents generation.
Control of the traceability.
Factory mock-up installation.
Support project engineers on testing the system.
Generate a labeling plan for the system.
Hardware packing and unpacking.
Support logistic department on packing list generation.
Support logistic department on shipment control and monitoring.
On site mechanical installation capabilities.
On site integrations.
Electrical connections and check.
Communication connections and check.
Troubleshooting capabilities during commissioning phase of projects.
Support the transition of the systems to operational.
Test the system on site.
Corrective and preventive maintenance of integrated meteorology systems.
Ensuring the project meets its deadlines at each stage.
Maintaining a clean health and safety record and overseeing the resolution of any problems.
Prioritizing and organizing project tasks into the required timeline.
Listening and responding to team and client requests.
Provide insights and support to the proposal teams as needed.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Maintain product and company reputation by complying with DTN´s project management regulations.
Familiarized with projects lifecycle.
Teamwork.
English and Spanish fluent.
Advance skills: Grade in engineering.
Electronics, understanding of circuits, diagrams, basic repairs.
Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
Knowledge of electricity, low voltage, regulations, and protective elements.
Networks and communications, communication protocols, basic network configuration, local networks, VPNs, remote desktops.
Understanding of industrial communication networks and protocols.
Other Skills: Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, conferring with management.
Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
Confirm product performance by designing and conducting tests.
Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions.
Maintain project database by writing computer programs; entering and backing up data.
GMAO software management (maintenance management systems).
Experience in an airport environment.
Proficiency in Visio, Autocad applications.
Time management skills, ability to handle multiple tasks.
Other requirements: Driving license.
Job rotation between Seville and Bilbao.
Availability for national and international travel.

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between €26,250 and €35,000.
DTN is a pay-for-performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time.
The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws.
The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
