We offer a new position as Diagnostics Engineer .
Main Objectives:
Data treatment & analysis for diagnostics on Port Cranes.
Site data acquisition (occasionally).
Worldwide communication with different internal and external entities during the execution of our projects.
Project engineering and internal document generation.
Depending on priorities, design and develop crane parts, such as mechanisms and structural components for the different crane industries.
Your Tasks:
Collaborate with the customer and/or different group entities to understand project requirements.
Perform data treatment & analysis for diagnosing port cranes, utilizing various technologies including 3D scanning and vibration analysis.
Utilize 3D scanning software such as FARO Scene and AutoCAD .
Occasional on-site data acquisition, which may involve working at heights (50-60 meters).
Provide technical support to the commercial department by evaluating the feasibility of new inquiries and estimating the development effort.
Create and maintain comprehensive internal documentation.
Participate in projects as a project engineer with technical skills and give advice internally and externally concerning crane diagnostics, including training.
If required, perform mechanical calculations such as stress analysis, force distribution, and material selection to ensure safe and effective designs.
If required, use CREO software to create 3D models and detailed drawings of mechanical parts, ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards.
Define the technical requirements for different crane parts, such as: materials, dimensional and geometrical tolerances, and heat treatments.
Requirements:
Preferable bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent by experience.
Autodidact & follow-up on new technology trends.
Mechanical design or engineering background.
Surveying knowledge.
Ability to interpret and produce technical drawings (2D & 3D).
Profile with 4 years' experience in mechanical engineering/design & experience with diagnostics: vibration analysis and/or 3D scanning.
Experience within the crane or heavy machinery industry would be a strong advantage but not mandatory.
Diagnostics: vibration analysis and 3D scanning (manage point clouds) would be a plus.
Fluent in English (part of the interview process will be in English).
Experience with CAD software is a must. Experience with CREO, AutoCAD, and Faro Scene is a plus.
Familiar with all packages of MS Office.
