Group-IPS is looking for a Project Engineer in our office in Barcelona, Spain. IPS is an international company specializing in Engineering and Project Management across various industries, with a focus on Automation and Architecture.We seek an engineer with experience in project management, whether in a client or consulting company, to actively participate in a wide range of project work, ranging from small improvements to large industrial constructions. The management of each project can include multiple phases and specializations:Strategic Consulting: project master planning, conceptual engineering.Project Feasibility: process description, plant layout, overall time schedule, procurement strategy, and financial plan.Project Preparation Phase: investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing, and procurement.Project Realization Phase: project management; detailed engineering, construction management, commissioning management, operational management.The role of the Project Engineer is to deliver high-quality services to the client within the defined budget and timeline.Key Responsibilities:Project documentation and control, cost control, scheduling, and construction supervision.Comfortable taking on tasks that require various skills and prioritizing task completion.Experience across the complete life cycle of projects, including master planning, feasibility, permitting, civil works, contracting, and construction management.Valuable experience in the Food & Beverages sector and industrial environment projects with a focus on process engineering, equipment, mechanics, instrumentation, and automation.Knowledge in civil works, building utilities, and process utilities.Experience in permitting and procurement is an asset.Valuable experience in mid to large-sized projects (> 1M€ / > 10M€).Requirements:Industrial engineering specialization in one of the following qualifications: Industrial Organization, Chemicals or Bio-Chemicals, Mechanics (or similar).3 to 6 years of relevant experience in industrial projects.Experience in the Food and Beverages or Biotech industries is an asset.Fluency in English and Spanish is a must; French or German is an asset.Driver License B.Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and AutoCAD.Global mindset, focus on results, challenging, pragmatic, proactive, and leadership skills.On-site in Barcelona office - Open to national mobility depending on the project.For the original announcement, visit Kit Empleo: here.
