Position: Project Engineer II
Location: Parla, Spain
The selected individual will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following obligations:
Under direction of Project Manager, manage capital projects (up to $5M), which would include, but not be limited to:
Scoping and estimating the projects
Authoring capital expenditure requests
Leading multi-functional project teams
Providing cost and schedule control
Identifying required resources
Coordinating between all affected parties
Work with site personnel to execute projects efficiently and effectively with minimal impact to existing operations.
Coordinate with the local technical and operational teams to ensure key project and site objectives are met.
Monitor project progress and performance; communicate project status with senior employees and project stakeholders; develop and deliver formal presentations to management as necessary.
Develop proposals or RFQs for the purposes of scoping or estimating capital investments; work with vendors and/or contractors to optimize system performance.
Qualifications:
B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Manufacturing experience.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects and fulfill responsibilities associated with project engineering teams.
Knowledge of a range of engineering disciplines (instrumentation, electrical, civil, mechanical, and chemical).
Demonstrated ability to both work within and lead multi-disciplinary teams.
Oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the country where the position is based.
