Are you ready to help us make the future? We have an opportunity for an Advanced Project Manager to join our Honeywell Thermal Solutions team in Barcelona.
You will be the main point of contact for all aspects of our larger turnkey projects involving gas burner systems and other thermal solutions, from sales proposal stage to the final commissioning stage. The Senior Project Manager will be part of an international engineering team reporting to the Leader of the Mechanical Engineering Team.
Advanced Project Manager ResponsibilitiesProvide technical, manufacturing, and project management interface to ETO projects during the project development, execution, and post-shipment phases with the local production facilities and 3rd party fabricators.Assume overall project responsibility for assigned projects executed out of the Dublin office. Responsible to meet/exceed KPI targets including operating income %, and OTTR (on-time deliveries).Manage coordination & completion of back-end engineering and design work from the Global Engineering Centers in India and China.Manage resolution of day-to-day technical, commercial, financial, and project engineering issues with internal ISC/pr activities, and 3rd Party Fabricators and subcontractors.Lead (as needed) review of project specifications and requirements during the project development phase prior to the successful sale of a project.Identify potential commercial, technical, and/or logistical issues and develop alternative action plans to maintain cost, schedule, quality, and safety expectations for assigned projects. QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering focused on mechanical disciplines. Master's degree would be preferred.Hold experience in the engineering, design, and project management of delivered equipment or equipment systems (skid systems) in the process industries is required.Previous experience within a project management capacity.Experience with CAD tools would be preferred, ideally with AutoCad Inventor.
