Job Description AT Group IPS we are looking for a Project engineer in our office in Barcelona, Spain We are looking for a engineer with experience in project management either in client or consulting company, to actively participate in a wide range of project work, ranging from small improvements to large industrial constructions.
The management each project can include multiple phases and/or specialization: Strategic Consulting: project master planning, conceptual engineering.
Project feasibility: process description, plant layout, overall time schedule, procurement strategy, and financial plan.
Project preparation phase: investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing, and procurement.
Project realization phase: project management; detailed engineering, construction management, commissioning management, operational management.
The role of the Project Engineer is to deliver to the client the more than satisfactory quality of the services within the budget and planning defined.
What is the role About?
We are looking for an engineer with experience in: Experienced in project documentation and control, cost control, scheduling, and construction supervision.
Feeling comfortable taking tasks that require various skills and prioritizing task completion.
Experience on the complete life cycle of projects, for example, master planning, feasibility, permitting, civil works and main infrastructure needs, contracting, and construction management and supervision.
Valuable experience in the Food & Beverages sector Industrial environment projects with scope in process engineering; equipment, mechanics, instrumentation, automation, etc.
Notions in civil works, building utilities and process utilities.
Experience in permitting and procurement is an asset.
Valuable experience in mid to big sized projects (>1M€ / > 10M€) Requirements Industrial engineer specialization in one of the following qualifications: Ind.
Organization, Chemicals or Bio-Chemicals, Mechanicals (and/or similar) 3 to 6 years of relevant experience on industrial projects.
Experience in Food and Beverages or Biotech industries is an asset.
Industrial environment projects with scope in process engineering; equipment, mechanics, instrumentation, automation, etc.
Project management experience Fluency in English and Spanish is a must, and French or German is an asset.
Driver License B Knowledge in PC-literate MS word and Excel and PowerPoint applications, MS Project, Auto CAD.
Candidate should have Global Mindset, focus on results, challenging, pragmatic.
With Proactive and leadership skills.
On- Site in Barcelona office - Open to National mobility depending on the project.
