Learn more about our work here: www.Artelier.ComWe are looking for an exceptionally talented and organised Project Director with at least 10 years' experience in solid project management and delivery of international design projects. The Project Director will take ownership of and oversee the successful delivery of large-scale and complex international projects relevant to our industries. In addition to project management, our ideal candidate would also have a background and proficiency in either architecture, design, interior design or art curation.The Project Director will report directly to the company Founder/Creative Director and the Commercial Director and will manage a small team of project managers and designers/curators.Education and experienceEducated to a minimum of a university degree level in project management and/or an architecture, interiors/design, or an art-related subject.At least 10 years' relevant professional experience, qualifications and training in project management and delivery for an international firm.Track record of delivering large-scale and complex international design projects and programmes.Experience and evidence of successfully managing budgets over £1m.Knowledge of international shipping, imports/exports, and overseas logistics solutions.Team leadership and ability to inspire and manage a team of 5 or more.Experience of working closely with client teams and managing project relations.Experience of managing suppliers – preferably with experience of working with artists and galleries.Proven technical skills and proficiency with project management software, as well as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), and AutoCAD.Preferably a portfolio of design work and curation for projects – concept presentations through to detailed design, specification and documentation – preferably with art elements.Passion for modern and contemporary art, with a genuine desire to expand knowledge in this field.Role outlineProject Management & DeliveryHead up company project management and delivery for international projects, day to day and strategic.Management and monitoring of overall project budget and timeline (over £1M).Creation and ongoing monitoring of strategic project plan with defined milestones.Leading initial client/project onboarding and ongoing project update meetings with clients.Responsible for logistics and shipping for complex international artwork shipments.Overseeing a team of 2 project managers and 2 senior interior designers
