Introduction:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Development Manager on behalf of a leading international developer to take on the development of solar energy projects in Spain. If you have a passion for renewable energy and a strong background in the early stages of project development, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities: Lead the development phase of solar energy projects from initial concept through to pre-construction, ensuring projects are well-defined and ready for execution.Conduct comprehensive site assessments and feasibility studies to determine optimal project locations and configurations.Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, landowners, and consultants, to facilitate project development.Prepare and present detailed development plans, technical analyses, and feasibility reports to senior management and potential investors.Navigate the regulatory environment and manage the permitting process to secure necessary approvals and licenses for project advancement.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Renewable Energy, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in project development within the renewable energy sector, with a focus on large-scale solar energy projects.In-depth understanding of the regulatory environment and permitting processes in Spain.Exceptional organisational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple development activities simultaneously.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Fluent in Spanish and English.
