Marc, Hiring ManagerRole Purpose: The Programme Procurement Leader (PPL) owns and coordinates all procurement activities related to new business acquisition (C0), achieving cost competitiveness, guaranteeing the implementation of the commodity sourcing strategies, developing and providing estimated costs and risk assessments for direct materials and having full ownership of the procurement cost estimations, supplier selection assumptions and risk associated of the complete BOM of a programme during multiple RFI/RFQ iterations until winning the business.
After customer award, our PPL owns the Programme BOM and coordinates all procurement activities related to new programmes, guaranteeing the implementation of the commodity sourcing strategies, and the achievement of quality, cost and delivery (QCD) targets to secure flawless launch execution.Key role responsibilities Continuous Improvement Analyze costs and budgets to help track budgets and support cost control Investigate incidents with suppliers or supplies and recommend actions Support stakeholder engagement by arranging actions, meetings, and events Ensure project compliance with the organization's wider program and/or portfolio management decision-making structures and processes Deliver small project workstreams, carrying out specified project activities within defined time and quality parameters and ensuring adherence to the prescribed project management methodology To be a success in this role you will need several years' experience in a procurement position, within a global organisation, with relevant examples related to the role responsibilities above.
