To promote this growth, we are looking for a Programme Finance Analyst to join our team, working on the implementation of large European and UK contracts.
As a Programme Finance Analyst, you will assist with a variety of aspects of project financial management across a range of projects.
This is a varied role covering many elements of Project Finance, including:Input to and maintenance of administrative systems and files.Monitoring and reconciling project costs.Coordination with Finance / Accounts and Procurement colleagues, as well as external subcontractors and suppliers.You will need to be highly organised, with a conscientious approach and great attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the confidence and professionalism to liaise with external parties, are essential.
As a team player, you will be responsive, flexible, and quick to learn.
Overall, you must be able to plan, prioritise, and manage your workload effectively, with increasing autonomy over time.Main Responsibilities:Project Financial Review: Provide monthly/quarterly updates to Project managers on financial performance for a range of projects and programmes.Project Financial Administration: Accurately update various databases and spreadsheets with budgetary commitments and invoices, reconciliations, and regularly check and monitor financial transactions.Project Evaluations: Manipulate data sets of completed projects in MS Power BI for evaluation and future pricing purposes.Project Set Up: Prepare project workbooks for entry of budgets into the core systems.Resource Management (RM): Update the RM system with the time budgets for projects and prepare reports to assist in forward planning of resource availability of the PIA team.Contract Amendments and Renewals: Assist with the repricing of projects when contract updates are requested by clients.Purchase Order Requests: Raise POs for a variety of services, including subcontractors and travel bookings, liaising with the internal Procurement team.Subcontractors: Monitor contracted days used in various spreadsheets and handle contract amendments.Travel Costs: Work with colleagues to maintain visibility and control of travel budgets through the PO system and spreadsheets.Travel database: Provide an updated dashboard of travel-related statistics in MS Power BI.Essential Requirements:Graduate or a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar environment.Good standard in Maths with figures, demonstrated by qualifications or experience.Excellent oral and written English.High level of proficiency in using spreadsheets, especially Microsoft Excel (lookups and Pivot tables).
