The Program Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of multiple projects within a program. By working closely with stakeholders, he validates individual project objectives, scope, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with the Omya business goals.
The Program Manager oversees project managers and project teams, providing guidance, support, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Main responsibilities:
Define program objectives, scope, and success criteria in alignment with Omya's business goals.
Develop and maintain the program roadmap, including project timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
Identify and engage with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements, communicate progress, and manage expectations.
Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure their support and commitment to the program goals.
Lead and motivate the program team, providing vision and support.
Allocate and coordinate resources, including budget and personnel, to optimize program activities.
Monitor program performance and identify areas for improvement.
Communicate program status, progress, and key milestones to stakeholders through regular updates and reports.
Identify potential risks and issues that may impact program deliverables and implement mitigation strategies.
Deliver a program closure report analyzing project execution results, cost, quality, and lessons learned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, project management, or related field, or equivalent work experience
At least 7 years of experience in Program management, preferably in a digital transformation context.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering practical, innovative and cost-efficient solutions.
