Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Program Management Officer (PMO) - Digital Finance within our Schneider Digital Hub in Barcelona.
What will you do? Digital Finance is responsible for a number of programmes and projects that are both strategic and discreet in nature. There is a need for a strong PMO to support the VP of Digital Finance to oversee the full scope of Digital Finance Programmes and Projects, ensuring that there is a consistent adoption of the various project management tools and processes, ensuring that the practices of the leadership team are efficient and effective.
This role will also require being part of the wider Enterprise IT PMO community ensuring adoption of company-wide best practices and tools, whilst keeping up to date with any changes and enhancements.
This role will give the individual exposure to the strategic direction of the Digital Finance transformation and is critical to ensuring that all programmes and projects are delivering in line with the transformation strategy.
Key responsibilities: Own the oversight of the Digital Finance Strategic Investment projects ensuring that the appropriate Demand Management process is followed including the associated admin management of the associated tools such as Service Now, Napta Time Tracking and Finance Project Code for cost management.Assume responsibility as SPOC/SME for all Schneider Electric PMO tools and processes, ensuring fully up to date with all evolutions.Own the Digital Finance Technical Debt strategy ensuring data accuracy across all the tools, ensuring that the tech debt strategy is clearly defined by each Digital Finance capability leader in addition to ensuring that the regional tech debt strategies are fully aligned. Prepare monthly reports on tech Debt progress and alignment with annual target setting.Ensure that the appropriate Digital Finance cost management processes are in place and appropriately adopted across the Digital Finance Leadership team. This includes setting up and driving the monthly cost review process. This also extends to the quarterly rolling forecast process ensuring the appropriate meeting cadence is in place to align with the global timetable.Support the VP Digital Finance with the Governance of the Strategic Investment and Programme management process throughout the year, from the submission process through the quarterly business reviews and to the close-out meetings.What qualifications will make you successful for this role? University degree or further education degree in computer science or information technology.Qualifications in Project or Programme Management.Fluent in English.Minimum 5 years of experience in a PMO role.Experience as a PMO in a technology company or environment.Strong expertise in project management tools such as Demand management, time and cost management, Excel, and PowerPoint.Some level of technical expertise is a prerequisite, especially regarding the various phases of an IT project, whether agile or waterfall.Strong skills in transverse, intercultural, and remote management, able to function well in a geographically dispersed organisation with a remote manager.Good interpersonal skills: listening, open-minded, curious, collaborative, an effective leader and motivator, facilitator, and negotiator.A very effective verbal and written communicator with a strong ability to influence and direct others as well as to develop trusted relationships with stakeholders.Very structured and organised, yet open-minded with a strong willingness to investigate and develop appropriate solutions to meet stakeholders' expectations.Fundamentally agile, able to address changing needs flexibly, navigate challenges, adapt dynamically and focus on adding value and satisfying stakeholders.What will you get?
