Job Description The role as Program Development Manager at Hyper Island is crucial in maintaining and growing the YH (vocational education) product portfolio, while future proofing Hyper Islands continuous strong foothold as one of the world's top creative business schools. The Program Development Manager will drive the grant application process for long-term and upskill programs and other potential formats; from research and ideation, to prototype/workshop, to crafting education plans in collaboration with industry, to ensuring that high quality applications are submitted on time. The role is also geared towards writing EU grant applications when the YH process permits. You will work closely with other roles and teams within the organisation to ensure we harness internal resources as well as external relationships when developing programs. You are a self-starter who can work equally well independently as in collaboration with other teams and team members. You will work especially closely with the Researcher & Writer and the Senior Project Manager Industry Relations in producing grant applications, at times with the EU Project Lead, as well as with other teams within the organisation. This role requires an ability to work both independently and as a process leader andteam member under pressure, and to meet demanding deadlines with a proactive approach. Responsibilities Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following areas: Understanding the MYH (Myndigheten för Yrkeshögskolan) framework and regulations, keeping track of important changes, and meeting MYH requirements in developing and submitting program applications Having an holistic understanding of our program applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards and are guided by input from industry Leading extensive internal and external research to support program development (both existing and new) Conduct workshops with industry experts for input on competence needs Managing and leveraging internal relationships around content for existing programs Crafting educational plans in compliance with MYH rules and regulations and in alignment with Hyper Island pedagogy Understanding and submitting the budget for program applications Submit applications on time, in collaboration with the Researcher & Writer and the Senior Project Manager Industry Relations Analyse results and conduct competitor analyses When the MYH application process allows, support in producing EU grant applications and potentially other proposals in English Explore different ways of working, along with new processes and elements of automation to increase efficiency and quality Skills and behaviours Strategic mindset, yet natural doer and problem solver Proactive organiser with strong time management / prioritisation skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English ( native level Swedish ) Quality driven and excellent attention to detail Excellent process and project management skills, including uniting people around a purpose Ability to prioritise, meet challenging deadlines and perform under pressure Positive and truly passionate about your work, people and education "Tech-savvy" with an attitude of testing new things to improve existing processes, including how to improve with generative AI Team player with strong collaboration skills managing multiple stakeholders Experience and Competence Proven experience in leading and producing grant applications in Swedish and English and/or written content within a complex business and/or public sector environment Full grasp of budgets, financial reporting, and compliance requirements Academic degree in relevant field Advanced Google Docs, Sheets, Slides/MS Word/Excel/Powerpoint skills & proficient in Google Drive tools Relationships This position reports to the Head of Business Operations & Development.
