Program Commodity Buyer

Program Commodity Buyer will support the purchasing function and ensure timely delivery of supplier quotes for new RFQs and commodity purchase support.Responsibilities:Review the bill of materials and speak to the engineering department in case any change to the bill of materials (change of supplier, etc.) needs to be evaluated.Evaluate vendor quotes and services and determine the most desirable suppliers based on the list of preferred suppliers from commodity purchasing teams.Join meetings with the rest of the Cross Functional team: PM, EPL, Sales, Plant, etc.Familiarize with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in a specific area.Benchmark and negotiate new materials for new projects.Conduct market analysis and provide raw material development overview.Maintain PUR systems.Requirements:Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or relevant field.At least 1 year of experience in a similar position.#J-18808-Ljbffr
