This role encompasses all four of the Excellence and Data Governance capability pillars and is a key partner to the data domain manager (DDM) role in the business, helping them to define opportunities to create business value through "fixing the foundations" in the material master data domain. The role then coordinates the execution of data governance activities by both DX&DG specialists and data stewards, in order to deliver the benefits identified.

How You'll Make an Impact / Responsibilities
Responsible for understanding, through engaging with the material master data domain manager initially, the critical business needs/issues that key stakeholders have with material master data.
Responsible for supporting the DDM and the key stakeholders to initiate the appropriate activity to address these business needs or issues - either within a pre-existing IT transformation programme, a new transformation project or as a BAU initiative.
Support and enable the data domain manager (and their stewards) as they manufacture and service high quality harmonized data through implementing the Data Governance Factory, in order to address the business needs/issues.
Help the DDMs and their stewards to resolve barriers and roadblocks to achieving business value from their data foundations implementations.
Single point of contact (SPOC) representing ED&AA on the business partner board(s) for the process area(s) most associated with the domain - from FY24.
Provide support to the building of a successful relationship between business, data and IT.
Work closely with the Data Excellence Community Leader to ensure that data roles are in place when needed to execute the Data Governance Factory.
Collaborate with other domain success managers to ensure demand for data excellence and data governance capability building is correctly prioritized across domains for maximum business value, such as aligning to strategic business transformations.
What You Bring / Skills, Capabilities
Detailed knowledge and experience of Siemens Energy business process areas and the IT and data that support these processes, preferably at a senior level.
Strong passion for the Siemens Energy digitalisation & transformation strategy and belief in their critical role in the aim to decarbonize the world's energy.
Flexibility and growth mindset, to take on new challenges and become a key leader in the SE enterprise data and analytics arena.
Interest in upskilling in the disciplines that support good data management, open to accelerating your learning journey into this exciting new technical field.
Demonstrable experience in strategic thought leadership in your SE field of expertise, and strong track record in stakeholder and change management.
Prior people leadership experience in a matrix organization, coordinating and aligning a wide range of stakeholders, without having direct line management of them.
Ability to work well in diverse teams and actively contribute to an inclusive team culture.
Ability to work with an agile, product mindset - delivering MVP fast and iterating rapidly.
A natural bridge builder, able to join many different threads together in a cohesive whole.
