We are now seeking a Production Supervisor to help us further building the future of food. You can be based in Berga, Spain and report to the Production Manager to be part of a great team of people based in our locations across Europe – Finland, UK, Belgium, Sweden, Estonia, Spain.
In this role you will have the opportunity to work to analyze production lines from a technical and maintenance perspective ensuring continuous improvement. Coordinate and implement the prevention plans for machinery.
What will you do: Guarantee the implementation and follow up of the Safety Requirements of PauligAct and live according to Paulig's values and leadership principles and actively promote and implement these throughout the entire organization (quality, factory, and Paulig meetings)Work to ensure people and resources are applied in an efficient and effective manner to meet the agreed requirements while achieving delivery, quality, environmental, and safety standardsEnsure the team is aware of day-to-day targets and responsibilities and the importance of achieving theseUndertake continuous training and development with teamsPerform root cause analysis and resolve problems to the Paulig way of working to guarantee quality productMonitor time and attendance and ensure compliance with Company proceduresInterface with Production Scheduling to determine schedules for weekly productionResponsible for providing the necessary human resources based on Production Scheduling and check temporal staff welcomeEnsure that the escalation procedure for quality and delivery concerns is followedDaily monitor change over and/or line set up efficiencyEnsure full adherence to 5SMaintain, improve, and train routines standards in all disciplinesBe visible in the production area and to support and train members of the teamLead team meetings with a structured agendaResponsible for team membersBe present and collaborate with external and internal auditsCoordinate daily tasks with maintenance supervisorSupport manager during staff selection and recruitmentWhat we expect from you: Experience of the manufacturing processExperience of LEAN manufacturing environmentCatalan and English on an advanced levelLeadership & communications skillsIndustrial Engineering or similar at collegeHigh level of production knowledgeExperience for leading personnelAt Paulig, we value every person as an individual and a professional and expect the same from you.
