.Purpose Responsible for the execution of seed production with the objective to have the right seeds delivered of the right quality and quantity, at the right time and right price with a high reliability and efficiency. Key accountabilities Responsible for crop monitoring from stock seed to harvest to ensure seed production at agreed quality, quantity, price and time. Responsible for operational management of the supplier through weekly and monthly reporting, review of crop results and crop management. Advise and align on crop treatment to obtain maximum quality, planned quantity and at agreed price/ costs. Ensure all phytosanitary and quality protocols are followed and all certifications and administration performed timely. Ensure all seed batches are evaluated timely on quality and quantity and that the required actions in the settlement process are completed timely. Signal and take action in alignment with the crop production manager, contract manager or settlement team or finance as required. Responsible for the execution and monitoring of operational activities to ensure the production orders are executed according to plan and the best adherence to plan is achieved. Responsible for the Latest Estimate (LE) regarding running productions in the Enza ERP system and where required in the planning system (in alignment with the Production Planner). Communication to other stakeholders on expected seed availability is a responsibility of the planner. Be the main contact between Enza Zaden and the supplier and responsible for the alignment with the supplier with regard to:Capacity reservation Proposed production program Delivery and shipment plan of stock seeds to the producer (including priority handling) Delivery and shipment plan from producer including priority handling (e.G., harvesting or processing at supplier) Responsible for crop production protocols and quality assurance for the following processes and areas: seed handover from R&D to SO, seed quality testing results analysis, seed hygiene (e.G. GSPP), phytosanitary regulations, field inspection and certifications (e.G. NAFI), and others. Also responsible to ensure suppliers follow quality protocols. Ensure internal and external quality assurance requirements are met for the crop scope. Ensure individual certification (e.G. NAFI) is completed timely. Preparation and execution for all audits, engage with auditors as requested. Ensure all administrative work prior and post audit is completed and all issues reviewed and action remediation plan defined and implemented. Management of the physical stockseed inventory in relation to quality and (virtual) warehouse positions at batch level. Management of the re-germination tests. Management of the actual total inventory in (virtual) warehouse, also including changes in phyto regulation or quality standards.
