As the Operations Responsible, you will be in charge of implementing and supervising the operational managemen t of the blueberry farm in Cariñena, Spain.
You will play a key role in the application of precision agriculture techniques , as well as in the supervision of daily operations, from infrastructure maintenance to personnel and resource management, with the aim of optimizing efficiency, productivity , and sustainability .
Your role highlights – your responsibilites Technical Management: You will ensure the achievement of production and quality objectives.
You will develop blueberry management strategies to optimize light and growth (pruning, shoot orientation, etc.).
You will plan and execute preventive maintenance of all agricultural equipment and vehicles (tractors, irrigation pumps, tillers, etc.).
You will supervise the maintenance of infrastructures: buildings, warehouses, roads, and fencing systems.
You will coordinate with external contractors for specific electrical and structural maintenance work.
You will implement and supervise the use of fuel management systems, controlling stock and consumption per vehicle.
You will ensure compliance with health and safety protocols in all farm operations.
You will train the team in maintenance and safety practices, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
You will monitor and improve performance indicators related to maintenance costs, labor productivity, and compliance with standards.
Operational Management: You will assign and coordinate the distribution of labor based on daily production and harvest tasks.
You will supervise the achievement of production and quality objectives, and record data in electronic control systems (Hispatec).
You will manage team attendance and productivity, including resolving questions about overtime.
You will maintain communication with the team about daily objectives and performance metrics, ensuring that each member understands their role and the expected standards.
You will support payroll administration by controlling attendance and hours worked, using electronic systems (e.g., Hispatec).
You will keep an accurate and up-to-date record of each day's performance, reporting daily to supervisors.
You will implement and supervise resource and personnel management strategies to ensure smooth and efficient operation.

Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Administration, or related training in Agricultural Sciences or Natural Resource Management.
Specific training in resource management, safety, and agricultural machinery is valued.
High level of Spanish and basic knowledge of English.
Other languages will be positively valued.
At least 3 years of experience in an operations role in the agricultural sector, preferably in the management of farms or plantations of blueberries or similar fruits.
Knowledge of precision agriculture , including digital tools for crop management and irrigation systems.
Experience in personnel supervision and resource management in an agricultural context.
You are a highly motivated, proactive person with leadership skills.
