Major tasks and responsibilities: Create and publish a weekly production schedule from the weekly master schedule inside the manufacturing lead-time, taking into account available resources such as equipment, raw materials, and staffing as well as sequencing rules, campaign size, etc.
Adjust the schedules to manage around obstacles that may arise as a result of unexpected material shortages, delivery delays, quality misses, or capacity constraints such as equipment downtime and communicate the changes to relevant stakeholders in the supply chain, such as Operations, Order Management, Transport Management, Integrated Logistics, and Procurement.
Ensure raw materials are ordered to support the production schedule with the Raw Material planner.
Cover the raw material planner role during vacations or absences.
Monitor and coordinate Inventory@Risk with all stakeholders: design/propose/agree plans to reduce, update timings, and status in SAP.
Responsible for keeping stock levels (safety stock, stock target, and re-order point) on agreed targets and keeping master data up to date in SAP for finished goods, intermediates, and raws.
Arrange stock transfers of finished goods to off-site warehouses.
Maintain scheduling parameters including review of accuracy, report deviations and contribute to corrective measures/action with E2E SC performance leads.
Provide support and back-up for other planners in the Integrated planning & supply team.
Pro-active approach to offer alternatives for OTIF missed sales orders, ensuring the least impact for all parties involved.
Present and propose measures to improve performance.
Communicate proactively with all stakeholders in case of order postponement (OM, IL, E2E Planners, etc).
Participate in Lean events organized in the plant.
Qualifications: Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or Business Related.
3+ years of relevant experience as Business Expert or Production Supervisor or in Supply Chain (Planning, Customer Service, Logistics, Purchasing).
Good communication skills with multiple stakeholders.
Deep knowledge of and high experience with SAP or high affinity with technology.
Experience with S&OP, able to troubleshoot problems in the system.
Proven ability to drive for results and to achieve goals.
Experience managing across multiple interfaces/systems.
Good English level (B2/C1).
Lean Six Sigma/Kanban is a plus.
