We are looking for a proactive and diligent Production Laboratory Technician to perform routine laboratory procedures to test the quality of the organization's raw materials, in-process products, and finished products.

You will have the unique opportunity to report directly to our Production Laboratory Manager, be based in our production unit in Polinyà, Barcelona -Spain and cooperate with hard-working and collaborative colleagues.
Key Tasks: Evaluate the physical characteristics of raw materials and products such as viscosity, color, gloss, IR-spectra.
Record results, perform calculations, and prepare simple technical reports, including conclusions and recommendations.
Follow provided guidelines and checklists to accurately assemble equipment and mix chemical solutions for testing purposes.
Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on laboratory equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
Provide support to your manager in prioritizing and allocating laboratory operations and workflow so that the laboratory's equipment and resources are used efficiently, and work schedules and targets are met.
What does it take to become our new team member?
Vocational education in Chemistry or University degree would be valuable.
Preferably, experience as a laboratory technician.
Knowledge of the paint and coating technologies would be a plus.
Excellent communication skills in Spanish with the ability to communicate in English.
Computer skills.
While we value validated experience and qualifications, meeting every requirement is not required.
