We look for colleagues who Care, Dare and Deliver.Objective positionAchieve the KPIs for Safety, Quality, Waste, OEE, and Production Plan Compliance in the assigned area by effectively optimizing and prioritizing available resources, including workforce, materials, and equipment.
Coordinate tasks and manage both internal and external personnel within the area to ensure the successful achievement of objectives.
Develop action plans to address and correct any negative deviations in these KPIs.Responsabilities and functionsSafety Policies: Implement all safety policies, procedures, and work instructions, effectively communicating them to the team.Manufacturing and Quality Protocols: Apply all policies, procedures, and work instructions related to World Class Manufacturing/TPM (5S, SMED, PM, Kanban, A3 Report, etc.)
and quality (5W, Pareto, Ishikawa/Fishbone, 8D, PDCA, etc.
).Internal Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal company standards for both yourself and your team.
Maintain and update necessary records related to production equipment and personnel.Best Practices: Ensure that the team adheres to best practices in safety, quality, and production by applying or creating work procedures.Safety Audits: Conduct routine safety and protection audits.
Document audits and corrective actions or requests, both internal and external.Team Management: Manage and lead a shift-based team within your areas of influence, monitoring task distribution and production schedules.Leadership and Support: Guide and support coordinators, operators, and area leaders in task planning through technical advice and supervision, proposing organizational measures, and providing necessary instructions.Communication and Teamwork: Maintain effective communication within the department, foster team spirit, create synergies, cooperate with other departments, and propose equipment improvements.
Manage necessary documentation and communication methods.
Attend meetings with other supervisors to coordinate departmental activities.Performance Evaluations: Conduct periodic performance evaluations for your team members.Team Development: Develop your team by equipping them with tools to better manage objectives.
Supervise team orientation and training.Problem-Solving: Make decisions and take actions to resolve issues or incidents.Personnel Management: Address and, if necessary, resolve individual personnel issues, including disciplinary actions.Disciplinary Actions: Administer disciplinary measures fairly and consistently, as established in company policy.Operational Efficiency: Ensure the operational efficiency of facilities and equipment.
Manage and lead the preparation and conditioning of machines, equipment, and plant installations.Workplace Cleanliness: Maintain clean work areas, ensure the proper condition of facilities and equipment, adhering to 5S and safety standards.Technical Reporting: Prepare technical reports describing incidents in the area, detailing problems, impact, and priority.
Develop action plans and proposals focused on resolution within your competencies.Production Oversight: Understand and periodically review production schedules, supervise personnel needs, and assign staff to tasks/actions.Analytical Skills: Conduct logical analyses, identify problems, recognize significant information, and coordinate relevant data.Proactive Planning: Anticipate short- and medium-term events, creating opportunities and minimizing potential issues.
Evaluate the consequences of decisions, respond quickly to changes, and apply different work methods.Technology Advancement: Evaluate and promote new technologies in your areas of responsibility.Coordination During Absences: Propose area coordination during vacations and leaves, ensuring the proper functioning of the sections you lead.Training and Leave Management: Supervise team orientation, training, and review leave requests.Activity Monitoring: Control and monitor section activities.
Daily supervise PA and OEE (Quality x Availability x Performance), material usage, and waste generation, taking action to achieve optimal conditions through employee instructions.Production Reporting: Review daily production reports: operator, product, quality, production management, data sheets, and other forms/reports, processing and/or storing as necessary.Technical Meetings: Attend technical meetings as required.Requiered SkillsProblem-Solving: Ability to effectively resolve complex situations by mobilizing various entities, resources, or individuals, demonstrating creativity in solution design and definition based on learned or experienced models.People Development: Ability to analyze and identify the potential of each team member, beyond the information provided by evaluation tools, to delegate and/or assign responsibilities according to their profile.People Management: Capability to ensure the team achieves set objectives by establishing and applying necessary training, monitoring, and supervision mechanisms, while maintaining an environment of cooperation and development.Quality Orientation: Ability to meet and exceed product quality standards.

Commitment to the organization.Communication: Ability to create a positive communication environment to avoid defensive reactions from interlocutors, providing necessary feedback to ensure they correctly understand the conveyed message.Self-Control: Ability to remain calm and act with composure in highly stressful situations resulting from conflict.Transformational Ability: Capability to adapt the foundational elements of the production process (Safety, Quality, Production) to the company#39;s strategy, projecting the application of future needs through current solutions implemented in medium/long-term processes.Qualifications and requirementsEducation: University degree or equivalent in Industrial Organization, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field, with 3 years of relevant experience in operations roles managing teams around 50 people working on shifts in an international environment.Language Skills: Intermediate English proficiency (fluent conversation).Health and Safety Training: Basic training in Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) and specific training in emergency response.Advanced Mechanical Knowledge: Proficiency in advanced mechanical concepts.Technical Proficiency: Intermediate knowledge of Office 365 suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, PowerBI, PowerApps, and web-based programs.Desirable Skills: Familiarity with AutoCAD, AI, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).Join us to shape the future together!SummaryLocation: NulesType: Full time
