A Day in the Life Marketing Product Specialist for Cardiac Pacing Therapies within Cardiac Rhythm Management

Careers that Change Lives Our Cardiac Rhythm Management Integrated Operating Unit offers devices and therapies that treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms and heart failure. It is comprised of four key businesses: Cardiac Pacing Therapies, Defibrillation Solutions, Patient Management, and Procedure Innovations. Together, we will transform the lives of people with cardiac arrhythmias and heart failure.

A Day in the Life Identifies, develops, and implements short and mid-term business tactics with the goal of Cardiac Pacing Therapies growth and special focus on the development of Micra and His Bundle Pacing therapies, integrated in the OneCRM Marketing Plan. In coordination with T&E department, plan and execute/support training activities to enable new implanters to use the new therapies safely and effectively. These activities will vary from national webinars to in-hospital sessions for both internal and external stakeholders. Plan and execute/support specific actions (meetings, congress related activities, presentations…) to increase penetration of innovative therapies and gain market share on core products. Plan and execute actions to develop referral networks and increase therapy penetration at a hospital and country level, together with the marketing and sales team. Document all activities according to OU requirements. Lead and follow-up all the authorization processes for account activation for Micra. Lead and follow-up on the organization of the different events, collaborating with T&E and EM departments when needed. Engage and build partnership relationships with national and local KOLs, as well as relevant medical societies. Understand the drivers of the key stakeholders in the process and identify the opportunities to achieve new patient growth and gain market share. Develop new patient flow to implanting centers by increasing referral rates of patients who will benefit from the therapies. Develops and disseminates information on a continuous basis to all pertinent parties concerning the fulfillment of project goals and objectives. Integrate in the account team to lead, coordinate or contribute (depending on the case) to the successful execution of local projects. Create and maintain therapy champions, forums and networks focused on ensuring eligible patients have access to therapy. Achieve territory (Spain) sales targets in line with defined expectations and through increasing patient access to the specific therapies. Remove barriers to therapy acceptance and service provision. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. government affairs, health economics and marketing) to drive National and local initiatives. Provide insights to the organization that are useful for forecasting, identifying market trends and create action plans accordingly. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Very strong teamwork skills are required to be able to collaborate with the different internal and external stakeholders in complex situations, including influencing skills. Experience or Ability to learn technical and clinical details of pacing therapies, specifically Micra and His Bundle Pacing. Good Speaker/Trainer aptitudes. Ability to manage projects and meetings involving different stakeholders with different interests. Strong business acumen utilized to deliver business results through the development of actions focused on new patient access to therapy. Collaboration with health care professionals to create data to support the benefits of therapy and help them deliver these data to their peers. Ability to build and execute tailored commercial activities to achieve sustainable revenue success, with special focus on training programs. Requires a Baccalaureate degree.
