WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Within the Retail Products & Customer Solutions for SAM - Global Product Team, the Products Senior Analyst for Countries Management & Flagships support area, will help to create and maintain SAM Global Product Catalogue, coordinate documentation and commercial material, and analyze products and modifications to existing products to complement the product offering at SAM. He/she has to guarantee that current processes for Global Products launched in Luxembourg are executed (KID annual reviews, updating of legal and commercial information of the Lux funds, factsheets generation, etc.). It includes a day-to-day relationship with the different SAM entities to provide information about the Luxembourg product range. Will also provide value to the organization helping in the definition and optimization process of the product range, evaluating appropriateness of the products being launched in every SAM jurisdiction, exploring cross-selling opportunities and best practices sharing, as well as keeping updated all legal and commercial information for the local companies, internal clients and final customers.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts: Countries Management: Understand the day-to-day business and support the local product teams in order to:Implement and maintain a common product development framework across countriesSupport technically and strategically the analysis and implementation of new local products initiativesGlobal Products / Luxembourg Platform:Product definition and analysis of current global range: launching new ideas and setting partnerships, product mergers, product closures - feasibility, project management/coordination, business case preparation.Update and dissemination of key metrics (AUM, net flows etc).Maintenance of all key fund information (fees, share classes, minimum investment amounts etc.).Supporting materials for Luxembourg products: video posts, presentations, marketing material.Market content: elaborating information to explain product evolution and performance, advice suitability for a given market environment.Specific Projects: Participation in key strategic projects such as Global Web, Global Partnerships, providing support for the successful implementation of the projects.Project Management: Monitoring the implementation done by the Lux.DETAILS OF INTERNAL/EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS:
External - Third party providers and asset managers: He/she has to develop a deep network of contacts with third party providers and delegated portfolio managers related to the Luxembourg platform (depositary, fund administration, data dissemination providers, third party vendors for KIID, EPTs and EMTs documentation) to support the daily activities of the Global Team with regards to Lux funds.
Internal - SAM: Global and Local Investment Teams, Local Product Teams, Global Performance Team, Finance and Institutional Team - Santander Group: Key stakeholders in the retail network of every country in where SAM has presence - BPI Product and Investments Team + Commercial Team
EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 5-7 years of experience within the financial industry, banking or asset management. Must have experience in product governance and management. Understand the asset management industry and the fund's product development process, to provide adequate product support for the "global products -Lux-" and the coordination with SAM countries.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: Must have knowledge about the asset management industry. Highly recommended and valued previous experience in the field.
