The role of the product sales manager is to support the account managers in driving new business - from both new logos and existing customers of Clarivate. Reporting to the manager of IP (Intellectual Property) Segment Sales, this is a wonderful opportunity for an energetic sales professional to drive sales for the Intellectual Property business.Key Responsibilities:To achieve/exceed territory sales plan against new business targets.Forecast accurately to your direct manager with constant communication throughout each month.Work efficiently with customers and leads, to ensure you are following Clarivate's sales cycle that includes a defined process in Salesforce.Be constantly learning and improving your understanding of the relevant set of Clarivate products that are sold to the user base.Ensure you have a strong understanding of competitor products and services and how we can successfully position ourselves against them.Actively participate in team meetings and events and share your customer, product and sales knowledge with the wider team.Maintain adequate meeting volumes as defined by Sales Management.Responsible for creating and updating account profiles, providing quotes and booking deals in Salesforce.com.Identify potential targets and contact lists for core job roles within existing clients.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments:A self-starter who is not afraid of taking the initiative and generating their own ideas on how to find and grow new business.Business level Spanish, Italian or French is required.4-year undergraduate college degree or equivalent. 5+ years experience, including 2 years of sales experience.Persistent and motivated to overachieve against target.Excellent sales, account management and presentation skills.Great organization and time management skills.General knowledge and understanding of utilizing SFDC.Curious, flexible, and competitive.Ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment.Proficiency in Webex, Salesforce.com, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel applications is preferred.Desire to grow in your career and work in a fast-paced environment.It would be great if you also had:Previous experience in Information Technology and Services, Legal Services, and Information Services field would be a bonus.Experience in Intellectual Property is a plus.Experience working with global teams.About the team:This role reports into the Manager, Segment Sales working as part of a team of 8 IP Product Sales Managers across the EMEA region.Working hours:Full-time permanent role based out of our London or Barcelona office on a hybrid basis, 2-3 days' per week in the office.At Clarivate, we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all persons with respect to hiring, compensation, promotion, training, and other terms, conditions, and privileges of employment.
