As a product-led organisation, Product at Ebury drives strategy for the business, and as Product Owner - Operations you will be responsible for transactional processing and automation product within the business, including initiatives around scalability, geographical expansion and robotic process automation.
Responsibilities Collaborating on product strategy for Operations product, including system and workflow upgrades and enhancements, as well as initiatives to support 24/7 transactional processing and process automation.
Managing end to end delivery of new initiatives within Operations as well as identifying and executing against improvements to current features and processes.
Keeping up-to-date with market and industry trends in workflow management and process automation, which will drive your product decisions.
Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of stakeholder (internal and external) needs and behaviours, to enable you to design and deliver successful product outcomes.
Defining, tracking and monitoring KPIs for product initiatives, and taking decisions and actions based on results.
Communicating product performance against KPIs to relevant stakeholders within the business.
Developing and presenting product proposals to senior management teams.
Conducting research/interviews and analysing client/market behaviour to better understand customer needs and to inform prioritisation and product roadmap.
Working collaboratively with Technology and other stakeholders to define requirements, epics and stories, and to plan and execute testing strategies.
Building out detailed Business Requirements Documents, completing in depth risk assessments and meeting all New Product Development milestones.
Expectations A strong understanding of transactional processing, including process automation and workflow design.
A strong client focus, and will base decisions on client feedback.
Solid communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to clearly communicate product needs and requirements to leadership, business and technical stakeholders.
Strong organisational and project management skills.
A minimum of 2 years working in a product role in a high-growth fintech or neobank, or a software/service company.
A minimum of 2 years product management experience, in a Product Owner or Product Manager role.
Successful delivery of product solutions in a fast-paced, agile organisation.
Domain knowledge in transactional operations, including process and workflow management.
A high level of organisational and project management skill.
Strong analytical abilities, including the ability to distil a problem into its component parts.
Experience using Jira.
Nice to have Experience working in a high-growth or scale-environment.
Experience working in a back-office management role in transaction banking or payment processing.
