Trekksoft is hiring a full remote, Product Owner.
As the Product Owner at TrekkSoft you'll play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of our product in close collaboration with management, engineering and other stakeholders. You'll be responsible for ensuring consistent value delivery to the customer base. The position also involves line managing the product and engineering team. Key qualifications include problem solving, roadmapping, and prioritization skills, strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key responsibilities: Define and develop the product vision, strategy and roadmap, ensuring it aligns with the company's strategic objectives and business priorities. Own, maintain and prioritize the product and sprint backlogs, including writing user stories, estimating effort, and defining acceptance criteria as part of the SCRUM team. Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from discovery to delivery, ensuring high-quality releases. Work closely with the engineering team and other stakeholders to strike a balance between maintaining a mature, stable product and being competitive in a tight market. Conduct market analysis and user research to identify trends, pain points and opportunities for creating value for our customers. Utilize data and analytics to drive product and business decisions. Ensure efficient communication and coordination between engineering, sales and operations. Line management of the product & engineering team. Requirements At least 5 years of experience as a product owner or product manager in a software environment (preferably SaaS), at least 2 working within agile frameworks (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban, Shaping). Passionate about working with customers to understand their challenges and providing solutions that create value. Strong roadmapping skills. Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision making. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a hands-on environment. Excellent communication, teamwork and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable with challenging conversations and the ability to push back on demanding stakeholders using strong communications skills and data driven arguments. Strong technical understanding, ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and facilitate discussions on technical dependencies with customers and partners. Be able to understand technical conversations with engineering staff and guide decision making. Excellent English. Additional language(s) would be an advantage.
