We're growing our product marketing muscle at Make, so we are opening up a new position to join our product marketing team and help continue efforts to build this critical function within the Marketing team. A key focus area will be around the research and development of targeted value propositions, and using these to enable and activate our commercial facing teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success) through powerful segment-specific motions. We're looking for someone with a talent for messaging and enablement, that can lead go to market strategy aligning key partners across commercial and product teams.
This role reports into the Product Marketing Lead within the Make marketing organisation.
What you'll do: Develop a deep understanding of our current and future customers, their challenges, needs and wants. Craft crisp, targeted segment-specific value propositions and messaging that resonate with target audiences and work in conjunction with our overall brand messaging as part of a consistent messaging framework. Enable commercial teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Growth) on our differentiated proposition by creating a range of tools and materials that effectively communicate our value throughout the customer journey. Build a strong understanding of our competitors' positioning, messaging and product value in order to effectively optimize for competitive differentiation within our messaging and create useful tools for commercial teams. Partner with product and commercial teams to launch new solutions, driving awareness and acquisition among prospective and existing customers. Influence product strategy and roadmap by partnering closely with Product, informed by market and audience insights Lead and define product positioning, audience definition and sizing, research pricing, and naming for a portfolio of solutions What we are looking for: 5+ years of experience in product marketing within a B2B technology business Strong understanding of all aspects of product marketing, with a particular focus on creating segment specific value propositions, personas and messaging. Experience with customer research and proficiency in using data and insights to inform product and GTM strategy Skilled at driving cross-functional teams against shared goals. Experienced in working across different commercial teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success). Naturally strong communicator - both written and verbal with strong stakeholder management skills Detail-oriented with the ability to spot inconsistencies and potential gaps - and fix them. Comfortable working in a fast paced scaleup environment, delivering iteratively.
