On a daily basis: Monday-Thursday 09.00-18.00 (one-hour lunch break), Fridays 09.00-14.00.Reports to: Product Marketing LeadKey Relationships: Internal: Marketing, Product, Sales, Customer SuccessRole purpose: We're seeking a motivated and creative Product Marketing Intern to join our team and support our day-to-day operations in product marketing.
This role offers hands-on experience across various product marketing functions, including campaign execution, content creation, and go-to-market (GTM) support.
As an intern, you'll collaborate closely with the Product Marketing Manager and Technical Writer, contributing to impactful projects that shape our brand.Key ResponsibilitiesDay-to-Day Support (20%)Deliverables/Outcomes: Assist the product team with daily tasks and projects, working closely with Product Marketing Managers to gain experience across multiple aspects of product and marketing.Examples: Shadow the Product Marketing Manager, monitor the product marketing roadmap, update deadlines for tasks, and ensure no conflicting customer communications.Communication Execution (15%)Deliverables/Outcomes: Help execute customer-communication projects, specifically managing in-product communications using tools such as Beamer, In-line Manual, or HubSpot.Examples: Enter copy into Beamer for PMM review, manage Inline Manual content (e.g., banners, tooltips), and collect relevant topics for the product newsletter.Content Collateral Creation (15%)Deliverables/Outcomes: Support the development of marketing materials, including case studies, one-pagers, and presentation decks.Examples: Based on briefs, prepare slides, create product landing pages, edit videos, and review lead-generation materials to ensure alignment with product updates.Product Marketing Campaign Execution (15%)Deliverables/Outcomes: Assist in executing marketing campaigns across social, email, and in-product channels by preparing ready-to-send materials.Examples: Create ad copy, prepare product landing pages, and draft posts for in-product communication.Stakeholder Management (10%)Deliverables/Outcomes: Aid in managing relationships with stakeholders such as designers, freelancers, and videographers.Examples: Send briefs to designers, collect feedback, and support the PMM in reviewing external team projects.Content Quality Execution (10%)Deliverables/Outcomes: Participate in reviews and edits of marketing content, providing feedback to enhance quality and user experience.Examples: Test and review user guides, provide feedback on UX content, and assist in creating educational materials.Visual Documentation Development (5%)Deliverables/Outcomes: Support the creation of visuals like charts, screenshots, and videos for documentation.Examples: Collect screenshots from Figma, record Loom videos, and set up client use cases to demonstrate new features.Analytics Implementation (5%)Deliverables/Outcomes: Assist in implementing user analytics for new product launches, tracking user engagement, and preparing summary reports.Examples: Configure Google Analytics events, monitor Beamer metrics, document high-performing content, and track customer satisfaction scores.Learning OpportunitiesGo-to-Market Support: Participate in go-to-market launches, gaining insights into GTM strategies and execution.Understanding of End-to-End Product Delivery: Learn the complete product lifecycle, from conception to end-user delivery.Tool and System Learning: Gain hands-on experience with industry-standard marketing tools and systems to enhance your skills and productivity.HubSpot: Primary CRM tool used for managing customer relationships, tracking leads, and automating marketing efforts.Beamer/Inline Manual: Key in-product communication tools for creating and delivering customer updates, announcements, and guides within the product.Figma/Miro/Canva: Essential creative tools for designing engaging visuals, collaborating on ideas, and creating marketing assets.Product Positioning Messaging: Understand the fundamentals of product positioning and messaging for effective product launches.Training Support: Exposure to product training activities to deepen your understanding of customer-focused marketing.Required attributes:High energy levelHigh self-confidenceHardworkingMethodologicalSelf-disciplinedSelf-motivatedHigh perseverance mindsetAchievement and result orientedGood communication and listening skillsAttention to detail and a proactive approach to learningPreferred Education and experience:Graphic Design skills–Basic knowledge of graphic design tools like e.g.
