Role Summary : The Product Manager - SD-WAN and Security role is responsible for contributing to GTT product strategy, development, execution, and ensuring alignment with organization goals and customer requirements.
The product areas and frameworks covered by this role include, but are not limited to, Managed SD-WAN, Managed Security, SSE, SASE and Professional Services.
Job Scope : This role collaborates with various departments at GTT, including network operations, engineering, systems, and service delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities : Contribute to the vision and roadmap for the managed and professional services product line to create a scalable and sustainable business. Drive innovation within the portfolio and across divisions to ensure competitive market positioning, pricing, technology, and product structure. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product improvements. Understand long-term client market and develop product strategies to ensure products are highly competitive. Collaborate with product marketing and marketing communications to develop product positioning, messaging, and campaigns that resonate with our target buyers. Engage in thought leadership and strategic communication activities representing GTT with conferences, industry analysts, and press. Deliver a customer-centric approach to product development, ensuring products address customer needs and pain points. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers to gather feedback and insights. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to inform product decisions and maintain a competitive edge. Conduct market research and analyze customer feedback to inform product decisions. Required Experience / Qualifications : Experience working within a Product Management function at a global telecoms or managed services provider. Understanding of the products that comprise the portfolio, including SD-WAN, Managed Security, DDoS Mitigation, firewalling, CASB, SWG, ZTNA. Understanding of multi-national enterprise networking, security and compute requirements, with experience of interacting with C-suite contacts in global enterprises. Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to align product initiatives with business objectives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across the organization. Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment while providing direction to teams. Desirable Experience / Qualifications : Relevant technical certifications (e.g. CCIE, CISSP, CISM). Relevant Product Management training certifications. Telecom Services Industry : Knowledge of the telecommunications industry. Universal Competencies : Continuous Improvement : Knowledge of transformation initiatives to drive fundamental changes. Customer First (Customer Facing) : Knowledge of customer interactions, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and partnership.
