We're looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead our PIM for Shopify project. In this role, you will take ownership of the product life cycle, focusing specifically on creating a best-in-class experience for Shopify users.
You will collaborate with engineering, design, data, and marketing teams to shape a product that simplifies complexity, drives activation, and helps our customers grow not only on Shopify but across multiple sales channels.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about building SaaS products for SMBs, has a strong sense of design and usability, and is excited about experimenting with Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategies to optimize user onboarding and engagement.

What will you be doing? Lead the product vision for Shopify users and their experience within Plytix, ensuring it is simple, intuitive, and tailored to their unique needs.Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across engineering, UX, and marketing to develop features that drive activation, retention, and growth.Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery to delivery, ensuring timely execution and continuous improvement.Work closely with data teams to leverage insights that inform product decisions and enhance the customer journey.Develop a deep understanding of our Shopify users, their pain points, and how Plytix can help them solve challenges related to product information management and e-commerce.Drive alignment across teams and ensure a smooth communication flow to keep everyone on track with product goals and milestones.Experiment with and optimize PLG strategies, focusing on increasing activation rates and simplifying the user journey.Continuously iterate on the product experience to make it easier for Shopify users to onboard and extract value quickly.After 1 month: You've gained a deep understanding of Plytix and PIM in general. You've met with key stakeholders and familiarized yourself with our workflows, especially within the product team. You now understand our goals, strategy, and the Shopify vertical, and you've started gathering initial insights from feedback and data.
After 3 months: You're actively contributing to product initiatives, collaborating with teams to improve the Shopify experience. You've begun executing key projects, although results are not yet visible, and you're taking ownership of important deliverables.
6 months in: You've delivered key improvements that are showing impact on activation and adoption. You're playing a crucial role in shaping the product strategy for Shopify, with measurable results in areas like onboarding improvement and customer satisfaction.
Who will you be working with? You will be part of a small specialized unit, but also part of the broader product team. You'll work closely with the development team, with a small development team assigned exclusively to your project. Additionally, you'll collaborate with marketing and sales to develop and execute a solid go-to-market strategy for Shopify users.
Since you'll be leading one of our biggest initiatives, you'll report on your progress directly to the CEO on a weekly basis and work closely with him from time to time.
What do we look for in the ideal candidate: 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally in a SaaS, B2B, or e-commerce environment.Experience working with Shopify and a strong understanding of Shopify users' unique challenges.A keen eye for design and usability, with a track record of simplifying complex products.Proven success in driving user activation and engagement through data-informed decision-making.Experience in leading cross-functional teams and working in fast-paced, agile environments.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to experiment and iterate to find the best solutions.Experience with Product-Led Growth strategies.What's not needed?
