.What You Will Be Doing ChargePoint is seeking a Product Manager for 3rd party hardware partnerships & interoperability to develop and manage ChargePoint's global partnership products according to the industry standards (e.G. OCPP and OCPI) with a focus on CP ready partners.The Product Management role with the 3rd party hardware team can be split into three main elements:Design, develop and manage 3rd party hardware solutions for ChargePoint to service customer needs.Project manage onboarding of new partner relationships and their products.Manage existing partner relationships and the products that need to be delivered.The Product Manager is responsible for the design, development, and management of new partnership products with both existing and new partners providing EV charging solutions or (integrated) payment solutions. Collaboration with these partners implies designing and implementing solutions that follow the industry standards (OCPP and OCPI) and comply with (local) regulations (e.G. Eichrecht).The 3rd party hardware & integrations team has a global responsibility within ChargePoint for all products within its portfolio provided by 3rd parties. This entails (amongst others) AC and DC charging solutions, as well as payment solutions delivered by different companies in both Europe and North America.ChargePoint envisions Hardware partnerships split in two ways:ChargePoint ready partnerships: pre-configured 3rd party solutions (charging stations or payment terminals) managed via the ChargePoint platform, including remote and on-site supporting services (installation + maintenance). ChargePoint-ready Hardware gets sold by ChargePoint.ChargePoint compatible partnerships: 3rd party charging solutions that are configured on-site and remotely managed via the ChargePoint platform with only basic cloud support. Note: ChargePoint is not responsible for the hardware.Requirements Enjoy working in an ever-changing environment and at the interface of technology and business.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or similar preferred.5+ years prior work experience in product and/or program management or equivalent role.Internal drive towards optimization and more sustainability in the mobility sector.Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.Good customer, vendor, partner management, and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently; result-driven and analytical working method.Creativity in finding the best solutions.Solid base of knowledge of OCPP specifications, standards, functionality, and industry.A track record of success in developing and delivering complex products in cross-functional environments.Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.Willingness to work with different time zones (EU/NA), which implies (early) evening calls.Language skills: English, German, and preferably one other language would be a bonus.Familiarity with the EV industry is a plus
