The business provides clients with unbiased OTC content and proprietary data, in-depth insights across price discovery, risk management, benchmark and indices, and pre and post-trade analytics.
Its post-trade solutions offering helps market participants control their counterparty and regulatory risks through a growing range of tools that manage balance-sheet exposure, as well as compression and optimisation services.
Role Overview The Product Manager for Parameta Solutions will lead product development initiatives in EMEA, focusing on monetising data from Energy & Commodities activities.
This pivotal role involves conducting data inventory assessments, identifying new revenue opportunities, and ensuring all external data publications are channelled through Parameta Solutions.
Acting as the regional subject matter expert, the Product Manager will drive collaboration across implementation, analytics, sales, and marketing teams to deliver innovative data products and enhance client engagement.
The role also requires representing Parameta Solutions at industry events, supporting sales efforts, and ensuring seamless execution of complex projects to strengthen market positioning and revenue growth.
Role Responsibilities Drive Product Development for Energy & Commodities Data Opportunities Lead Parameta Solutions' product development initiatives across EMEA to identify and capitalise on new data opportunities within the Energy & Commodities sector.
Conduct regular Data Inventory Assessments of systems, including trading platforms, communication tools, monitoring technologies, and processes that support the broker workflow.
Develop actionable plans from inventory findings, prioritising opportunities at the sub-asset class and desk levels to monetise data, including internal and private pages.
Collaborate with industry bodies and clients to research, recommend, and implement data content enhancements, driving innovative business initiatives.
Ensure all external data publications from TP ICAP Energy & Commodities in EMEA are centralised through Parameta Solutions for consistency and value optimisation.
Collaborate Across Teams to Ensure Seamless Delivery of Complex Projects Act as the key liaison between Parameta Solutions' Product Implementation and Analytics teams, Technology, Sales, Client Services, and Energy & Commodities desks to ensure smooth execution of projects and alignment with client needs.
Serve as the regional subject matter expert (SME) for OTC Oil, Gas, Coal, and Environmental derivative data products, providing insights on broking practices, pricing methodologies, and advanced analytics.
Oversee the integration of data types, including pre-trade order information, indicative data, post-trade data, and alternative datasets derived from correlations, voice records, sentiment analysis, and market surveillance statistics.
Enhance and Maintain Parameta Solutions' Data Products Work with the Product Implementation team to improve existing products and ensure alignment with technical requirements, customer needs, and deployment best practices.
Support the presentation and distribution of data across internal and third-party platforms.
Lead Marketing and Client Engagement Activities Partner with Parameta and TP ICAP Group Marketing teams to coordinate regional and global marketing efforts, such as newsletters and event participation.
Represent the firm at industry conferences and client meetings, both regionally and internationally, while providing feedback to refine marketing collateral and campaigns.
Support Sales and Channel Management Teams Provide SME expertise during sales engagements, offering technical and strategic support throughout the sales process.
Collaborate with the sales team to create materials and execute targeted campaigns, driving client acquisition and retention.
Experience / Competences Essential Understanding of the Energy & Commodity markets (Oil markets would be beneficial).
Proven product management experience in financial services and successfully bringing revenue-generating products to market.
Experience in a real-time market data environment (either buy-side or sell-side).
Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated experience to work independently and demonstrate self-motivation.
Ability to sponsor change/continuous improvement and exemplify excellent customer service.
Candidate is able to work to demanding targets and deadlines while maintaining high levels of organisation and focus.
Desired Understanding of OTC data usage within the Energy & Commodity and financial markets, including relevant instruments.
Comfortable representing Parameta Solutions at events and seminars.
Leadership skills, including listening, empathy, decisiveness, and stakeholder management.
Can anticipate and interpret upcoming industry trends and align products with emerging needs.
Confidence, professionalism, initiative, and diplomacy.
Ability to review large, complex trends in financial and customer data and deliver solutions to improve P&L and customer service.
High impact and visible credibility at all levels.
Ability to think analytically/conceptually and translate ideas from concept into strategy and actionable plans.
