.This role will assess our company's market and product strategic direction through robust industry knowledge using market intelligence techniques.Market Intelligence is not just data. It's the combination of data and analysis that generates information relevant to making decisions. The four cornerstones of Market Intelligence are Competitor Intelligence, Product Intelligence, Market Understanding, and Customer Understanding.This role will be responsible for segmenting our product portfolio, and feature applications for each product category. Market segment/industry knowledge will be key to assessing that product portfolio proposal. Interaction with innovation will be key to developing new materials.Key AccountabilitiesLed data identification through the market, product, channel & customers insights to detect opportunities for Business Plans.Conduct Market Research plans, identify trends and understand customer expectations.Segment product portfolio and identify possible gaps.Define the application strategy in line with the Differentiated Business Model (DBM) and drive business performance in accordance with the overall approach dictated by the positioning of the application.Drive innovation, new product developments and product launches based on technology push, opportunities and market needs, coordinating with Innovation, sourcing and sales department.Act as the key interface and translator between the commercial market requirements and our product development / innovation departments.Have an entrepreneurial mindset, strong relationship-building skills to ensure GCR brands' positioning are robust.Update the project list to develop new research materials.Develop a unified market understanding of each client's products and end markets.Planning: setting goals based on market size, bottom-up business monitoring, etc.Oversee and profile competitors and competitive products.Gather, analyze, and sort competitor information.Present internally and externally, including customers, exhibitions and forums.Generation of enriched and qualified leads through advanced analytics.Research customer demands, understand their needs and gather product feature requirements (market research and analyses trends).Identify partners for collaborative new development opportunities and manage those projects to drive value for both organizations.Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.Able to converse and write effectively in English.Able to interact effectively with higher levels of management (managers & above).Able to negotiate skillfully and promote/sell ideas persuasively.Understand, communicate, and collaborate effectively with people across various identities.Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive.Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.Able to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed
