Product Manager (Contractor), EU Emerging StoresThis position is for an 18-month Fixed Term Contract and will be based in Stockholm.Amazon strives to be Earth's most customer-centric company where people can find and discover virtually anything they want to buy online. The EU Emerging Stores team is specifically focused on ensuring Dutch, Swedish, and Polish customers have a great retail shopping experience with Amazon.The team is hiring for a Product Manager to help with efforts in improving customer experience, particularly around the data we present to customers on individual products.The Product Manager will have ownership of a number of projects and initiatives. Key responsibilities include:Owning data quality input metrics across NL, SE, and PL stores where you will need to build and implement plans to drive improvement and achieve goals.Collaborating with different international and multi-functional teams to deploy scalable solutions (often AI-based) and manage the operations of such programs and tools in the countries of focus.Supporting other initiatives to improve customer experience.The right candidate for this position should enjoy working in a start-up environment where collaboration, flexibility, and a sense of humour are highly valued.Traits of success:Empathy with the customerThinks strategically and tacticallyHands-on and results-orientedHarnesses data to drive decisionsThrives in ambiguous work environmentsBASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Statistics3+ years professional experienceBackground in either Retail, Management Consulting, Banking, or TechExperience with complex quantitative analysisAdvanced proficiency in ExcelHigh attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneouslyTechnical aptitude and agility to leverage web-based toolsStrong written and verbal English communication skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience of working in e-commerceProficiency in SQLFluency in either or a combination of Swedish, Dutch, or PolishAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
