THE ROLEWe're seeking a Checkout/Payment Product Manager with over 3 years of experience in e-commerce or marketplace environments and a strong technical background. In this role, you'll optimize the checkout process, tackle online fraud, and manage multi-country payment challenges.Your responsibilities will include:Optimize the checkout process and improve the Payment Authorization Rate, while addressing online fraud and adapting to the challenges of a multi-country payment environment. Specifically:Optimize the checkout process, focusing on improving the conversion rate of the checkout page.Enhance the Payment Authorization Rate for various payment methods.Address online fraud challenges and implement robust anti-fraud tools to secure transactions.Navigate the intricacies of a multi-country web environment, ensuring efficient payment processing across various international markets.Lead design and UX changes aimed at improving the conversion rate, making the customer journey more intuitive and engaging.Use data and metrics to inform your strategy and success criteriaTest new features yourself in a staging environment.Create Jira tickets (user stories) to be actioned by developers, and answer questions on such tickets to ensure smooth delivery of work for testingWhat you need to succeed: 3+ years in Checkout/Payment Product Manager roles.Experienced in B2C e-commerce or marketplaceTechnical background: Strong SQL skills.
