You are responsible for guiding the success of a product/solution and leading the cross-functional team that is responsible for improving it. This role combines strategy, technical/scientific knowledge, leadership, and market understanding to deliver a product that meets both customer needs and business goals. You will harness an exhaustive understanding of the product, from its fundamental functionalities to its clinical indications, ensuring Roche's offerings are distinctively positioned against competition. Responsibilities: Product Strategy and vision : Develop and articulate a clear product vision that aligns with the company's overall strategy and goals. Define a Marketing Plan proposal defining objectives, strategies, initiatives and tactics for sales teams of the related product/solution specially focused in the ones you lead and taking into consideration to be aligned into an Integrated Company Plan. Launch and Business Planning preparation of the related products & solutions Follow the market trends of the product portfolio you lead through market analyses, understand customer journeys and identify growth opportunities. Market Awareness, Promotion and Communication: Stay abreast of the latest developments and publications, Communities of Practice (CoP), and other essential communications within the CA and E-L scopes related to the products in scope. Development of promotional campaigns in coordination with Global of promotional campaigns. Budget control. Product Mastery: Attain exhaustive knowledge of the product's features, clinical applications, and competitive advantages. Identify strengths and weaknesses against competitors, shaping product strategies, positioning, and tactics accordingly. Capture customer and market feedback and communicate any proposed product improvement to global teams. Documentation and Support Material: Adapt or originate technical-commercial documentation, seek out supporting literature, and provide comprehensive materials that aid the product's understanding and promotion. This includes regular revision and quality control of all materials before uploading into the Acadia system and Showpad, as well as all materials posted online (website, emails, etc.) Regulatory Vigilance and Quality Collaboration: Play a pivotal role in the product monitoring process, working in unison with the quality and regulatory departments to uphold standards and compliance. Commercial and Tender Support: Provide robust support for technical-commercial matters, including product-specific training, detailed product explanations for selected strategic customers, assistance with product-related queries in tenders (in collaboration with customer support for highly technical questions), competitive assessments, and handling unique queries not previously documented. Continual Learning and Product Proficiency: Commit to ongoing personal education to master new product features and stay updated on existing product solutions, ensuring deep knowledge and expertise are maintained. Product Care accountability: while relying on the operational support from the Product Specialists, the Product Lead is the ultimate accountable person for end-to-end product readiness in the internal systems (stock management, product substitutions, catalog management, tender documentation and pricing). When applicable: Clinician Selling Network Assistance: Guide the Clinician Selling network through regular updates, materials, sales arguments, scientific sessions, and interactions with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) - specifically for products requiring demand-driven promotion. Capabilities and Experience: In-depth knowledge of the engineering and/or the science behind the portfolio under your responsibility is required. Bachelor's or Master's degree or previous on-the-job experience that supports mastery in the related product portfolio (bioengineering, engineering or similar for systems related positions / biology, chemistry, pharmacy, medicine or similar for reagents and indications related positions / telecommunications, software, engineering or similar for digital solutions related positions) Comprehensive understanding of product functionalities, clinical indications, and market positioning; and the capacity to translate these into impactful messages for the sales force. Good marketing capabilities, with autonomy to design and execute product-centered strategies and marketing tactics. Effective communication and educational skills, particularly in training sales forces and engaging with KOLs. Good analytical and strategic planning abilities. Fluent in Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Details on accountabilities: Experienced marketing professional Bachelor's Degree in Life Science. Master's Degree/MBA highly recommended. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in marketing, sales or commercial strategy within the healthcare field/IVD market. Proven experience in the Clinical Laboratory (core lab) market is highly valuable, specially in high medical value biomarkers. Proven experience and understanding of analytical and medical protocols, as well as clinical guidelines. Ability to maintain fluid conversations with clinicians and other health care stakeholders. Proven technical/scientific product and solutions knowledge of Clinical Laboratory (core lab) Proven track record of developing and executing marketing and commercial strategies, and achieving tangible results. Strong analytical skills to assess business results of marketing tactics, define appropriate metrics/KPIs, and maximize value of marketing investment. Creative thinking with practical capabilities to carry-out experimentation. Ability to prioritize and manage workload in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Demonstrated relationship building and cross-functional teamwork skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
