Product Engineer

Responsibilities:Creation of assembly drawings, detail part drawing, 3D models and bills of materialOversee and validate the product designResponsible for the right development of product design according with project requirementsDefine the validation plan, follow-up test results and evaluate if the product is conform or not with the specificationsTake an active role in technical meetingsTechnical support to Sales and new project offer phases, with technical presentationsMay manage one or several projectsManage the functional analysis and product failure mode analysis (FMEA)Ensures the application of standardsFormalizes the design requirements and manage program documentationContributes to maintain and develop the knowledge and expertise within the assigned area of responsibilityRequirements:Engineering degree with specialization in mechanical or industrial engineeringMinimum of 3 years of experience in product units or similar positions in the automotive sectorExperience in automotive quality process with various customersMechanical product development (additional skills, experience in rolling, steel pressing and aluminum extrusion)Fluency in English (French language would be an advantage)Advanced use of CAD tools: CATIA V5#J-18808-Ljbffr
