We are seeking a seasoned and data-driven Director of Product to lead our CDP team. As the steward of our CDP product, you will be instrumental in creating a vision as well as shaping the strategic direction of our Customer Data Platform and its interface with the business. We are looking for a results-driven professional who can bridge the gap between business requirements, marketing workflow, and technical implementation. Join our innovative team and play a pivotal role in defining, prioritizing, and delivering features that enhance our CDP, ensuring optimal customer experiences across our other GDP products like Consent Management, Identity, Single-Sign-On, CDP backend, and consumer experience products through CMS and DAM.Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Director of Product for our CDP product, you will be responsible for leading the CDP vision, strategy, product development, rollout, and delivery of the CDP product. You'll be responsible for overseeing the translation of the business requirements from various brands and divisions within Mars Petcare by setting the product and technical direction and leading the team in rolling out CDP capabilities and partnering closely with the marketing teams within each brand and division of Mars Petcare. Your role involves providing overall leadership, ensuring stakeholder management, product development, product rollout across all brands and divisions, and delivery to align technical solutions with business goals. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the vision of our CDP product, delivering a comprehensive data platform to enable personalization use cases across our ecosystem.Your responsibilities will include:Lead and guide the CDP team by establishing a product vision and drive the strategy by sharing the business context and assist in business-led, technology-supported capability buildout using a combination of the chosen best-in-class CDP solution/tool and building in-house services based CDP backend.Act as an opinionated product leader focused on delivering product outcomes to the business and marketing teams and drive key decisions for the CDP to deliver Petcare OGSM 2030 strategy and use cases at scale; you will be constantly negotiating with multiple heavyweight Petcare Global and divisional stakeholders to gain alignment.Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with other GDP product leaders and their teams consisting of tech product leads, architects, product and engineering leads, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication of the business context, vision, strategy as well as supporting technical concepts and code-level execution of the agreed software architecture.Lead both the CDP frontend and the CDP backend team and drive the design and continuous enhancement/optimization of the CDP architecture, focusing on scalability, performance, and reliability to meet business requirements.Implement and promote Agile development methodologies within the team, including sprint planning, regular code reviews, and the use of project management tools.Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and professional growth within the team.
