We are now looking for a skilled and passionate
Product Development Engineer to join our international product development team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and improving product solutions for the entire international company. Your tasks will include concept design, industrial design, material selection, and technical development. You will work closely with our international product development team, sales, and production to ensure that the products are innovative, high-quality, and meet customer needs and market requirements. As a Product Development Engineer, you take responsibility and manage projects of all sizes with a proactive attitude, ensuring they are successfully completed from start to finish.
Your home office is located in our production site, Antequera (Malaga), with a flexible hybrid work model and occasional travel to customer sites and our headquarters in Finland.
Key Responsibilities Concept design and development of new products Implementation of industrial design and product design Selection and testing of materials Development and optimization of technical solutions Design and manufacturing of prototypes Collaboration with production, marketing, and sales teams in product development and launches Expectations and Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering in a relevant field such as mechanical engineering, industrial design, or materials science At least 5 years of experience in product development or similar roles Strong experience in industrial design, material selection, and concept creation Proficient in 3D design and PDM functions Extensive technical expertise and understanding of the product development process Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking Ability to work independently and in a team Strong communication skills in English and collaboration skills to cooperate with the international organization Additionally, we value: Experience in product structure configuration.
