WhereTo provides an AI-powered travel platform for corporate travel. Their platform uses machine learning algorithms to recommend personalized travel options based on a traveler's preferences, company policies, and budget. WhereTo's technology also allows for real-time travel tracking, reporting, and cost analysis, enabling companies to optimize their travel programs and reduce costs.
ResponsibilitiesWork with the product manager and user research team to conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.Translate user insights into design solutions that enhance the overall user experience.Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts.Iterate on designs based on feedback, user testing, and evolving project requirements.Transform design solutions into visually appealing and detailed mock-ups while ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.Actively contribute to and utilize the shared design component library to maintain consistency across the platform.Work closely with product managers, tech leads, researchers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and requirements.Collaborate with engineers to ensure the implementation of designs aligns with the intended user experience.Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback and insights for continuous improvement.Analyze usability test results and iterate on your designs via data-driven design decisions.Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging design technologies.Share insights and contribute to the evolution of the design team's processes.Experience & QualificationsBachelor's or associate degree in design, Interaction Design, or a related field.Proven experience (3+ years) as a Product Designer preferably working on a SaaS product.Experience working on digital products or platforms is highly desirable.Experience working in the travel industry or designing online booking experiences is a major asset.Strong visual design skills with a focus on creating intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces.Demonstrated ability to empathize with users and advocate for their needs throughout the design process.Experience conducting user research and usability testing.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and justify design decisions.Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.A strong portfolio that demonstrates a range of design projects and your process from concept to final implementation.Work Perks! - What's in it for you?Our fantastic offices are located in the heart of Barcelona, at Plaça Catalunya.The opportunity to join our free language lessons (English, French, Spanish or Catalan).An attractive package: 25 days off/year + 5 compensation days + reduced time during summer + bank holidays.Health insurance.Flexible working-time.Table tennis on the terrace, a kitchen area with free snacks, fresh fruits and drinks.The opportunity to work with an international and talented team.Several activities organised by the ambassadors!Applications close: 16 Sep 2024 Romance Daylight Time
