Job Description
The Product Applications specialist plays a critical role providing technical support to the sales team, consolidating business retention while supporting profitable business expansion in the HPI and CPI space.
The product application specialist works together with the European and Global teams to define market needs and evaluate new product introductions to fulfill these needs.
Main tasks and responsibilities:

Offer technical support to our commercial sales team, focusing on HPI, CPI, and Acid Gas Treatment for the Iberia Region and potentially all of Europe.
Collaborate with European and Global teams to identify market needs and evaluate new product introductions.
Conduct technical audits in existing accounts and survey prospect accounts.
Deliver technical presentations to various levels of customer organizations.
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide equipment inspection support at key HPI/CPI accounts within the region.
Understand individual customer concerns, develop corrective action plans, and communicate these to the commercial team.
Articulate the unique advantages of Veolia WTS chemical treatment and services programs to customers.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or relevant technical field (chemistry).
Minimum three years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools (Excel or Google Sheets).
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft and/or Google tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally (20-40% of the time).
Familiarity with process documentation such as PFDs, P&IDs, and H&M balances.
Valid driver's license.
