Working closely with REVLON for their HQ in Barcelona, we are looking for a Procurement Specialist in Raw Materials.
Procurement Specialist Barcelona (Spain) Ref: NQ9873 March 5, 2024 MASS COMMODITIES FUNCTIONS Support initiatives of NPD/Insourcing.
Strong collaboration with Global Team based in the US.
Support contacting RM vendors (support of the Procurement Manager).
Support the definition of the business allocation.
Outline appropriate implementation/resolution plans in case of issues.
Contribute to the delivery of savings and working capital improvements each year, according to company targets.
Assess and track market trends for the assigned commodities, particularly for Spain and Italy.
Support delivery of corporate objectives such as growth agenda by developing and delivering appropriate initiatives (e.g., supplier lead-time reduction, materials agreements, payment terms improvements, make vs. buy analysis, employ cost mitigation tactics).
Uphold the company's principles, business controls, ethics, policies and procedures, and professional standards.
Support the development and negotiation of contracts.
Develop and recommend tactics that enhance competitiveness among suppliers.
Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to deliver cost and service improvements.
Support stakeholders on Sustainability/Circular Economy in Revlon's journey to build proper sourcing strategy to address Sustainable Development Goals.
Requirements BA degree required.
Spanish and English proficiency; Italian appreciated.
Experience in Raw Materials in FMCG or Cosmetic companies is a plus.
At least 2 years of professional experience, preferably in Procurement (or in Supply Chain).
