Through DCP, AXA will serve existing and new clients and partners through an evolving business model, where our focus on insurance protection will transition to a combination of protection, prevention, and services – moving from loss prevention to loss prediction.
AXA DCP relies on creating an ecosystem of AXA's risk insights, risk management, and risk prevention capabilities to enhance and support our service offering to commercial clients.
AXA DCP aims to:
Improve our underwriting pricing and claims capabilities across the commercial lines book of business of AXA Group
Create a platform for risk management and prevention services
Build an ecosystem of business partners
As a Procurement Specialist, your objective is to ensure to get the best value from 3rd party relationships and keeping appropriately controls & risk management in place, by managing tasks required by the procurement policy and processes in cooperation with AXA DCP business stakeholders, AXA XL procurement teams and following AXA Group standards.
The Procurement Specialist will support the Procurement Lead and AXA DCP's functions transversally by handling and leveraging processes and systems in place through the supervision of the Procurement Lead while creating the most effective processes for AXA DCP to achieve its ambition using the "freedom within boundaries" principle.
Essential Responsibilities Include:
Establish relationships with the best suppliers and negotiate long-term-value contracts.
Implement and continuously upgrade policies and procedures governing procurement and purchasing requirements in line with AXA standards.
Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulation and AXA standards.
Interact with key internal stakeholders in identifying business needs.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure that contractual obligations are met.
Monitor and report on purchasing activities and expenditure.
Manage preparation, implementation and execution of procurement processes.
Implement procurement processes to ensure efficiency, cost savings and best practices.
Perform sourcing, liaising and negotiating with new and existing suppliers.
Re-negotiate contracts with suppliers to produce better savings.
Create documentation necessary for the acquisition of materials and services.
Provide outstanding customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
Manage general projects linked to the Procurement function.
Continuous learning and development of procurement knowledge and methodologies.
Monitor and ensure the use of common, efficient, ethical procurement processes.
You will report to the Head of Procurement, AXA Digital Commercial Platform.

A Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, finance, operations, supply chain management, or a related area.

1-2+ years of direct experience with Sourcing and Procurement functions.
