About the Role We're seeking a talented Senior Business Support Specialist (Procurement) to join our Spain team! You'll closely collaborate with our procurement team in the Netherlands and/or China HQ. This role primarily focuses on procurement and sourcing of services, requiring expertise in company procurement processes, management of suppliers and contracts, ordering and delivery management, payment oversight, and report preparation. As a key player, you'll excel in cross-departmental collaboration and budget management, ensuring our purchasing strategies align with company goals. Key Responsibilities: Procurement Adhere to Company Procurement Processes: Familiarize with and ensure adherence to company procurement policies and regulations. Assist in developing and updating procurement processes to enhance efficiency and standardization. Management of Suppliers and Contracts within the System: Create, manage, and maintain qualified supplier information within the company's procurement system. Review and manage supplier contracts to ensure compliance with company requirements. Ordering and Delivery Management: Create accurate purchase orders within the procurement system and ensure timely delivery coordination with suppliers. Payment Management: Monitor the payment status of purchase orders and coordinate with the finance department to resolve payment-related issues. Report Preparation: Collect, organize, and analyze procurement data to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual procurement reports. Provide decision support and recommendations to management based on procurement data and trends. Information System Implementation: Lead and coordinate the implementation of information systems, ensuring all procurement activities are conducted within the system. Assist team members in adapting to system operations. Cross-border Procurement Support: Provide procurement support across European countries, coordinating procurement activities and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Continuous Improvement and Learning: Participate in continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems. Continuously update procurement knowledge and skills to adapt to changing market and technological environments. Sourcing Support and Collaboration with Internal Departments: Identify resource development opportunities for internal departments and provide support based on market demands and customer feedback. Collaborate with internal teams to understand product requirements and guide the execution of resource development projects. Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed plans for resource development projects, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and monitor project progress to mitigate risks or delays.
