This level role can apply to equipment finished goods. The role is in Barcelona and reports to the European Procurement Category Lead. The role gives an opportunity to work closely with Marketing and Business teams and develop Supply Strategy for the Key Platforms in a cross-functional working environment. This is an exciting opportunity to advance your career with a stable growing company!Main Responsibilities:Acts as business owner for his/her categories, autonomously defining and executing sourcing strategies.Goals: improve reliability, get competitive pricing, seek for technical and commercial opportunities, reduce complexity, shorten lead times and much more.Is responsible for directly leading negotiations with suppliers.Applies the Total Delivered Cost (TDC) process and tools, from definition to implementation, to build and reinforce a best-in-class supply that meets the company goals.Keeps a global mindset, benchmarking regional strategies within the global sourcing team; leverages the Ecolab global scale to add value and maximize benefits.Leads saving projects or other initiatives to achieve team targets.Collaborates across RD&E; , Supply Chain, Quality,Regulatory, Marketing, and Sales to ensure action plans and project milestones are met.Develops business continuity plans and risk assessments. Investigates, develops, and drives actions to remedy supply disruptions and constraints.Effectively communicates updates to internal stakeholders.Builds and maintains expert knowledge of respective categories, competition, and innovations. Jointly works with the business to address questions and needs surrounding suppliers, markets, materials, and services.Education and Professional Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Business or Management fields.Academic qualification in Sourcing and/or Negotiation is a plus.Technical know-how on plastic and metal parts production is a plus.Fluent English level is a must; another European language is a plus.3-5 years of experience in International Sourcing, supply chain or project management experience is a plus.Competencies:Procurement knowledge and strategic mindset.#J-18808-Ljbffr
