Are you looking for a part-time job that is exciting and flexible at the same time? No problem! We can make it work if you are open for +20h/week! We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing procurement processes to identify addressable spend, achieve cost savings, and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors. This highly visible position requires excellent business partnering and negotiation skills. As the role holder, you will oversee key categories, driving improvements in services while obtaining the best prices and terms.
YOUR DAILY ADVENTURES WILL INCLUDE: Define and execute our procurement roadmap, identifying addressable spend and driving cost savings across key categories.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and develop strategies to optimise procurement processes and services.
Prepare negotiations strategically and steer external and internal stakeholders as needed during the negotiation process, securing favourable terms and pricing.
Quickly work yourself into new products and services, by identifying the needed information.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with strategic suppliers, fostering long-term partnerships.
Champion innovation in procurement, exploring new technologies and approaches to drive efficiency and value.
Contribute to the development and implementation of a robust purchasing system, streamlining processes and enhancing transparency.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE: You should be a consolidating and reliable character, highly self-motivated, who thrives in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment. You are offering both; an understanding of numbers and people. You are not afraid of conflicts and negotiations, and like to tackle these and by finding good solutions. Further key aspects of your profile are:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, business, engineering, or information technology.
3-5+ years of experience in procurement or supply management, with a focus on driving cost savings and delivering results.
Willingness to continuously learn and improve, seek pro-actively feedback, and be open to learn from failure.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, taking ownership of projects and driving them to completion.
Proven track record of successful supplier negotiations, achieving savings, and securing favourable terms.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse spending trends and identify opportunities for optimization.
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Fluency in English (German is a plus), with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Passion for innovation and continuous improvement, always seeking new ways to enhance procurement processes and outcomes.
