Every day we help our major global clients deliver ambitious and highly technical projects, in over 125 offices worldwide.Turner & Townsend has a new opportunity for a Procurement Manager in Spain.Procurement for major capital projects and programmes includes:Developing procurement and contracting strategies to drive value and mitigate riskDeveloping tender and contract documentationEffectively managing the end-to-end procurement process including coordinating tender clarifications responses, evaluating tender submissions, and developing tender reports.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:Develop your skill set and knowledge by working with an outstanding team of specialist consultants; Engage and influence clients on procurement of major construction projects and programmes across a variety of sectors including energy, transport, water and real estate; Drive real change by supporting clients in realizing their sustainability ambitions; Challenge themselves in a market-leading global business.The duties of this role include:Providing procurement advice to clients; Managing end-to-end procurement services on construction and construction-services-related projects and programmes; Developing and implementing procurement strategies and plans; Engaging with the marketand supply chain on a national and international level; Providing expertise to embed sustainability within procurement competitions; Drafting tender documents and reviewing contract documents prepared by others.Minimum Requirements:Minimum 8 years' experience with 3 years procurement experience for the procurement of capital works, goods or services; Preferably possess a degree related to engineering or quantity surveying; Experience in construction, industrial, high tech manufacturing, battery, semi-conductors, pharma and/or manufacturing sector; Business level Spanish and English.Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
