The project is in the front-end loading phases of pre-project planning, FEED, conceptual planning and development of the contracting strategy.Job ObjectivesTo support the Project director in all procurement related activitiesJob Responsibilities : Establish procurement plan and procurement packages in consultation with Project Director and engineering team, identify critical packages and closely follow-up on progressEstablish contracting strategies for sub-contractors in consultation with Project DirectorInitiate and participate in pre-qualification of potential vendorsPrepare commercial evaluation of procurement packages and sub-contractors, including evaluation of unit rates and prices benchmarked against industry norm and practices.Implement internal control to ensure purchase orders and contracts are duly prepared, dispatched and reconciled.Monitor and expedite shipmentsEvaluation and verify contractual terms and conditionsImplement effective negotiation strategies and actively participate in negotiations to close deals with the best possible purchase prices and delivery time.Prepare weekly/monthly procurement reports.Job Requirement :Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related disciplinesFluent in written and spoken English, with strong and effective negotiation skillsMinimum 10 years as procurement manager/executive with experience in development of major capital projects in an owner or EPC company for industrial process plants, chemical, petrochemical, biofuels projects.Familiar with established vendors and suppliers of equipment and bulks in the industryUpdated with market rates and prices in the industriesGood leadership, communication and teambuilding skills.Experience of working in a multicultural environment will be advantageousWilling to be based in either Madrid/Huelva, Spain#J-18808-Ljbffr
