We are seeking an experienced and motivated team member to oversee our purchasing and logistics operations in Spain for HELM Iberica.
To strengthen our team in Madrid, we are looking for Procurement Manager (m/f/d), limited for 1 year, being part of new challenges in the dynamic environment of the international chemicals raw material market.
In this function, you will act as an interface on operational level to suppliers and customers and provide a high level of service in logistics and after-purchase services for HELM in Spain. In detail you will oversee the coordination, negotiation and monitoring of sea or air freight transports as well purchasing lists by taking care of deadlines, conditions, and compliance standards. You will contribute to a smooth operational planning of supply chains for the respective product group-, the market- or customer segment in scope. Moreover, you are responsible for processing our business-transactions in our SAP system (SAP SD/MM and/or TM). Furthermore, you monitor compliance with all relevant external regulations (e.g. dangerous goods, customs, foreign trade, tax, etc.). As part of your role, you will constantly ensure a balance between cost-conscious Supply Chain Management and a maximum possible degree of service to customers and suppliers. You consult and collaborate with Product- and Sales-Management to collectively address supply-chain or logistic specific issues and to observe market-developments. Your profile: You have a logistical background and several years of professional experience in this area. Furthermore, you are familiar with working with dangerous goods requirements, tax regulations and foreign trade standards. You are proficient in common IT applications such as the MS Office package. You already possess of experience in working with SAP. In the team, you act as an open and team-oriented contact person. In addition, you are characterized by a service-oriented mindset. A fluent command of written and spoken Spanish and English completes your profile. Further foreign language skills are an advantage.
